A guest lecture by Inela Selimović (Wellesley College, USA) will take place on May 27, 2026, from 5:00–6:30 PM at Schubertstraße 21. The event is open to everyone; no sign-up required.

The lecture explores the films of Argentine-Mexican director Paula Markovitch, focusing on how her work portrays marginalized individuals and spaces. Through cinematic engagement with environments such as homeless sites, hospice-like spaces, assisted-suicide contexts, and political displacement, Markovitch’s films invite viewers into complex socioemotional and sensory worlds.
