Successful Inter.Reading Book Club Semester
Successful Inter.Reading Book Club Semester
The Inter.Reading Book Club has successfully concluded its Spring 2025 semester, bringing together readers from diverse backgrounds for open, thoughtful conversations on literature. The Inter.Reading Book Club welcomes participants across generations, disciplines, and countries for regular meetings filled with meaningful discussions.
This semester, we kicked off on March 17 and met every other Monday through June 23, enjoying engaging conversations over snacks and drinks. Our reading list featured two powerful books:
- Strangers in Their Own Land by Arlie Russell Hochschild (2016)
- James by Percival Everett (2024)
Together, these books sparked rich conversations around class, race, belonging, and the narratives that shape personal and collective identities. Thank you to everyone who participated this semester!
Are you interested in joining us in the future? New members are always welcome! For more information, please contact eva.bauer@uni-graz.at or maria.niedermayr@uni-graz.at
We’ll resume our meetings in October 2025!
